I wrestle in similar ways and you articulated the battle beautifully. He is indeed delivering and rescuing and setting captives free; He does arise on behalf of the fatherless and the widow; He does feed the hungry and clothe the naked...but hardly ever as we anticipate. What a privilege He gives us to be part of His story of redemption...we can trust Him with all that remains unknown to us, knowing it is indeed known perfectly by Him. Glory awaits us, and all will be made right...but there is always going to be pain and brokenness this side of it. May God indeed conform us more and more into His image.Conniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10719534060309826843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5722654301083073697.post-57756568646320326662010-07-19T10:04:46.870-06:002010-07-19T10:04:46.870-06:00and did you get the update that another girl that ...and did you get the update that another girl that we didn't even pray for WAS rescued...that same day. Such...What a beautiful heart of God you have Amy!

Such passion and truth mixed together in your post. May we all pray to have compassion for all of God's children. May we remember that Jesus died for the sins of this world - yours, mine and theirs. He died for all. That includes the people we can't fathom will ever be just-if-ied! He died for them too. We must pray for their hearts to be softened to see their sins as God does and for them to choose to stop causing the suffering they do to the voiceless every single day. We must pray for the broken who keep breaking others. The only time we will ever know a life without these horrific realities is the day we meet our Maker face to face and He comes back once again to rule and reign forever.

Praying with you!
JillAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17247824698674815568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5722654301083073697.post-18158813233814062242010-07-18T21:35:16.100-06:002010-07-18T21:35:16.100-06:00Amy, I love you and the way that you weild that sw...Amy, I love you and the way that you weild that sword of yours! I am honored that God has placed you in my life and SO close to my heart. Joining you in prayer tonight for people who are broken enough to ignore the innocence of children and believing that our Father hears us when we call!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04840768976050206912noreply@blogger.com
